After driving for hours in heavy rain, the Hilton Ocala was a welcomed respite. Easy access off of rt 95 and convenient to the activities in Ocala makes this hotel workable for the traveler. The grounds are beautiful, staff is a delight, and the rooms were emaculate. I arrived early for my reservation yet the staff were more than helpful and accomodating. The food in Arthurs was well above the usual hotel fare and made for a break from the typical ""complimentary"" boring breakfast choices at most of the other chains. I would suggest the hotel add fresh squeezed orange juice to their menu however; afterall, we are in Florida! I might also start some mattress upgrades, but that being said, the rooms were well-appointed and comfortable. When in Ocala, I won't stay anywhere else.

After a long travel day I do not want to be forced to listen to repeating ads in the elevator telling me why I should stay at the hotel I'm already at. This, combined with an indifferent front desk staff when asked for help in directions, means I'll stay somewhere else.

Stayed at this hotel with the Silver Springs Extreme package. We had a double bed room. It was very roomy, decor was very nice, tile and carpets were new. The package came with a free breakfast. A few minor mis-advertising on the hotel's part - like a heated pool (which is was not) to having a croquet course and lake (which they did not). But there were several other things to do - like basketball, feeding Buddy (horse). All-in-all it was great. Would definitely stay here again."
